Disable Windows 10 Automatic Updates

There Windows 10 updates whether you want it or not unless you know the trick. An up-to-date PC is less vulnerable to attack, so automatic updates are generally a good thing. But sometimes an update will make thinks worse, rendering a PC problematic or even unusable until the problem is solved.

That's why some people prefer to hold off on an update until other people tried it without disaster. But this requires you to take time out of your day to keep up on the news about Windows updates. And if you are using Windows 10, you've got another problem. It won't let you turn off automatic updates. Luckily, there are two workarounds.

By Change the Group Policy:

If you have a Professional, Enterprise, or Education edition of windows 10, you can turn off automatic updates. But the option is hidden.

Step 1. Press Win+R, type gpedit.msc, press Enter. This brings up the Local Group Policy Editor.

Step 2. Navigate the left pane as if it were File Explorer, to
Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Windows Update
Step 3. Find and double-click Configure Automatic Updates

Step 4. In the resulting dialog box, select Enabled.

Step 5. In the Options box, pull down the Configure automatic updating menu and select your preferred option.

By Change the Group Policy:

If you've got the plain old Home version of Windows 10, you can stop automatic updates by lying to your operation system. (Morally speaking, this doesn't bother me a bit.)

But there's a more serious caveat. It only works with a Wi-Fi network. Ethernet need not apply.

The trick is to tell Windows that you have a metered connection to the Internet one that can only download so many bits per month without increasing your ISP bill. To tell Windows that you have a metered connection (whether you do or not):

Step 1. Open Network & Internet.
Start > Settings > Network & Internet
Step 2. The Wi-Fi tab should already be selected in the left pane. In the right, main pane, select Advanced options.
Step 3. Turn on Metered connection.

You should do this for any Wi-Fi network you visit. The setting is only for that particular network.
You have two way to manually update: You can turn off the metered connection option. Or you can simply use another network, even one with Ethernet.

Add a Branding Intro to Your Youtube Videos

The Branding watermark enables you to embed your channel logo across all of the videos on your channel. Since March 2015 the watermark is displayed in the bottom right corner of the player, so a video can have both watermark and cards.

To enable Branding watermark, follow these steps:

Step 1: Go to My Channel

Step 2: Click the pencil icon on the right side of your channel just below your banner and select Channel settings

Step 3: From left bar under Channel settings, click on Branding.

To feature your channel branding across all of your videos, click on Add a watermark. You will be able to include a channel branding element that will appear in all your uploaded videos across devices.

You will be able to upload an image to use as your channel watermark. we recommend that you use a transparent background rather than a solid one and include just one color in image. Making good use of transparency ensures that the image will be less distracting, especially on small screens (e.g. mobile phones).

On desktop, this channel will allow viewers to directly subscribe to your channel if they hover over the watermark. This won't show to user that are already subscribed to your channel.

For downloading pdf to word convertor software you can simply google it. Accuracy of documents after conversion may vary depending on the software you are using and its version.
Method 2: Converting pdf to word online
If you don’t want to download and try many softwares for conversion , you can simply do it online. CutePDF-Editor  is one websites offering this service of converting documents online. You can always use google for more such website.

All you have to do is to upload your pdf file to any conversion website and download its corresponding word file after it gets processed. Once you receive it in word format you can edit it using any word processor software.
Also for converting word file back to pdf format you can reverse the process and do it online. It is a bit time consuming process because it requires an internet connection , uploading and downloading of file but if you don’t need to convert pdf files regularly , it is a good option rather than installing unnecessary softwares for doing this.
Method  3: Using Non-Free Tools
Finally, if you edit PDF files daily and the above solutions are not sufficient for you there are also plenty of commercial PDF editors. Unfortunately, many of these programs can cost several hundred dollars but they will assure you the unwatchable quality and user friendly interface for editing the documents.

For that you will need to Create Run Commands for any software of your Choice which you use Frequently.

It is really easy to create run commands, which involves just few steps. Through this article, I will help you to access your favorite applications by creating custom Run commands.

To create custom Run commands first of all, you need to open the Run window by just pressing the Windows Key along with the R key, i.e. Windows + R.

Steps to Create RUN Commands:

Step 1. The first step is to select the software or application for which you want to make custom Run command. For example, let us consider Google Chrome as the example here. Remember, you can choose any application other than which is already there in the Run command.

Step 2. In the second step, right click on the desktop of your computer system and make a new shortcut.
Right click > New > Shortcut
Step 3. As you select the Shortcut option in the 2nd Step, it will open up a dialog box. And, the dialog box will ask you path of the application or software for which you want to create the Run command.
Step 4. Now, you need to browse through the files and choose the one that shows “chrome.exe”. Well, it is quite obvious that all the executable files can be found in the C drive (or wherever the Operating System has been installed), inside the folder “Program Files”.
For example
C:\Program Files\Google Chrome\chrome.exe
Step 5. Once you are done with Step number 4, just click on “Next” button and simply provide a relative name to that shortcut. Remember, the same name will be used later in the Run command.
For example
GC for Google Chrome
Step 6. Now, click on the “Finish” button. Once it is done, an icon related to that application or software will show up on your computer’s screen. It means that the process of creating shortcut has been done successfully.
Step 7. In this step, just cut and paste that recently made shortcut icon into your computer’s root drive, in its Windows folder.
For example, C:\ Windows , Make sure you are the administrator of the computer or have its password.
Step 8. Now, you are done with the set up and can run the application through Run Command. Just go to Run and enter the keyword “GC”, and Google Chrome will begin executing.
